Jesús Alba Mansilla has been selected by INTBAU Spain as master craftsperson of the month for October 2023.
Jesús Alba Mansilla is a blacksmith from Checa, in the province of Guadalajara, a town that had an important iron and steel industry since the 15th century, of which there are still remains. He belongs to a family of blacksmiths who have worked iron continuously since the beginning of the 19th century.
He specializes in the manufacture of wrought iron grilles, balconies, gates, decorative accessories (chandeliers, door knockers, etc.), furniture and restoration work, as well as sculptures made of wrought iron without welding.
