Francisco Aguilar has been selected by INTBAU Spain as master craftsperson of the month for March 2023.
Francisco learnt his trade in a self-taught way, studying and reproducing models of traditional architecture. He was also mentored by Donald Gray, with whom he worked on many projects in tasks such as drafting, design or site supervision. As a carpenter he has studied numerous models of woodwork, balustrades and other traditional architectural features in both the Canary Islands and the Alpujarra, which have served as a starting point for the design and execution of a large number of works.
