The project stands out because of its aim to retrieve the urban fabric of the west area of “la Vila” and because of how it gives value to the vestiges of the Almohad wall and the former church of Santa María, where the primitive bell tower is retrieved, turned now into a viewpoint which makes it become the main landmark when one analyses the profile of the city and also the finishing element of the street which runs along its main axis.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”1_3,2_3″ _builder_version=”3.25″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat”][et_pb_column type=”1_3″ _builder_version=”3.25″ custom_padding=”|||” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_image src=”http://intbauspain.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/SC-PALMA-Artillero.jpg” title_text=”SC PALMA-Artillero” url=”https://www.driehauscompetition.com/en/2019-2020-edition/” align_tablet=”center” align_phone=”” align_last_edited=”on|desktop” _builder_version=”4.4.9″ always_center_on_mobile=”on”][/et_pb_image][et_pb_image src=”http://intbauspain.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/SC-PALMA-Bulevar-y-Museo.jpg” title_text=”Layout 1″ url=”https://www.driehauscompetition.com/en/2019-2020-edition/” align_tablet=”center” align_phone=”” align_last_edited=”on|desktop” _builder_version=”4.4.9″ always_center_on_mobile=”on”][/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”2_3″ _builder_version=”3.25″ custom_padding=”|||” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.4.9″]

Finally, the jury decided to leave the first prize for Santa Cruz de la Palma without it being awarded to any proposal.
