The award ceremony took place at the Museo de Am\u00e9rica in Madrid. The Building Arts Awards are organized by the Traditional Building Cultures Foundation with the collaboration of INTBAU Spain, the Ministry of Culture and Sports and the CSCAE.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In the category of masonry and stonemasonry work, the award was given to <strong>Sebasti\u00e1n P\u00e9rez G\u00f3mez<\/strong>, from Fuentes de Andaluc\u00eda, in Seville, a master mason and brick carver.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Max Rutgers<\/strong> is the award-winning master in the woodworking category. Max, trained in France with the Compagnons de Devoirs, carries out his work from the Alt Empord\u00e0 region of Girona.<\/li>\n<li>The award in the category of finishes and other works of traditional construction has been given to the master <strong>Julio Barbero Moreno<\/strong>, specialized in lime coatings and one of the main masters of the sgraffito technique.<\/li>\n<li>Finally, in the category of metal and glass work, the winner was the master <strong>Friedrich Bramsteidl<\/strong>, who from Mazonovo, in Santa Eulalia de Oscos, has revived in Spain the practice of forge work using a water-powered hammer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On the <a href=\"https:\/\/8as22.r.sp1-brevo.net\/mk\/cl\/f\/sh\/6rqJfgq8dINmNjXcrSwoXHwr8Wy\/pq9PYhJgvjYp\">YouTube channel<\/a> of the Awards you can find the videos that have been prepared about each of the awarded masters. This year 26 outstanding projects from 18 countries have been awarded.<\/p>\n<p>These include, at the national level, the \"Escuela de carpinter\u00eda de lo blanco de Narros del Castillo\" (\u00c1vila), the only center in the world dedicated exclusively to the teaching of Mudejar carpentry, and, at the international level, \"Boulouki - Travelling Workshop on Traditional Building\", a collective of architects, engineers and heritage professionals from Greece dedicated to revitalizing traditional craftsmanship to meet the needs of contemporary construction.
