He is the founder of a blacksmiths\u2019 school which as well as being his home and workshop has become an international benchmark for the learning of traditional smithing and forging techniques.<\/p>\n
Miguel \u00c1ngel Mart\u00ednez Luque, who was already engaged in blacksmithing, was the apprentice selected to receive the Donald Gray Grant and to be trained with the master blacksmith Ram\u00f3n Recuero in 2022-23.[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.21.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.21.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_video src=”https:\/\/youtu.be\/vbIDCvxLbyw” _builder_version=”4.21.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][\/et_pb_video][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.21.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.21.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.21.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]This training is allowing Miguel \u00c1ngel to consolidate his knowledge of the various traditional techniques of artistic blacksmithing as well as to acquire and practise new ones.
